However, p
lease allow us to assit you in filling out the Dues Worksheet section of your application.
The dues information is included below for your information.

Dues total $10 a month (collected twice a year & prorated for new members), plus a one-time $20 new member fee.
For your information, here's where everything goes:

  • New member fee*: Subscription to the Toastmasters Magazine, with all its great articles, tips, and ideas; one Competent Communication (CC) manual, one Competent Leadership manual, a welcome packet with helpful information, and two Advanced Communication manuals to be received after the CC manaul has been completed.
  • Toastmasters International dues ($4.50 a month): TI has a small staff of paid employees - the bulk of the work is done by volunteers in the organization. TI dues go toward research and development, publications, the upkeep of the small office and staff, and more.
  • Gilbert Club dues ($5.50 a month): Facility rental fees, officer training, materials & supplies for basic club operations.

Dues breakdown:

Month Joining New Members Others* Membership Term
April/October $80.00 $60.00 6 months
May/November $70.00 $50.00 5 months
June/December $60.00 $40.00 4 months
January/July $50.00 $30.00 3 months
February/August $100.00** $80.00 8 months**
March/September $90.00** $70.00 7 months**

*$20 new member fee is not applicable for dual, reinstated, renewing, or transfer members.
**Dues renewals are collected twice a year. We have added the $60 renewal amount to the prorated fees during the months we would be collecting the renewal dues.

Credit cards may be used to process Toastmasters International dues only ($20 + $4.50 per month), and checks or cash would be needed to cover the club dues ($5.50 per month). However, our preferred method of payment is a check to cover both International and club dues at one time.

This membership fee may be tax-deductible. If this membership fee would cause financial hardship, please talk to an officer about it and we will try to work something out with you. It is not our desire to see anyone with a genuine desire and firm commitment to partcipate not be able to do so for financial reasons.
